The company that was to become Cosmetec Japan was established in 1885 under the auspices of Momotani Juntenkan, a groundbreaking company that was one of the pioneers of the modern cosmetic industry in Japan. From the company's establishment of a research plant that used Western medical concepts to produce cosmetics in 1913, Cosmetec Japan has been at the forefront of driving the cosmetic industry in Japan forward, through providing its customers with groundbreaking products and services. Cosmetec Japan has been highly regarded for its contribution to the cosmetics industry over the years, and those involved in the company's early years were the recipients of the Japanese government's Medal of Honor with Green Ribbon and France's Legion d'Honneur. The company continues to exert a considerable influence on the cosmetics industry today.

Cosmetec Japan's long and rich history is underscored by its taking on of both tangible and intangible assets from each stage of its rich history, and its continuing position at the forefront of any developments in research and development and breakthroughs in manufacturing technology. The company remains one of Japan's leading OEM cosmetic manufacturers, developing and producing cosmetics with high added value and high quality quasi-drugs. More recently, in order to meet the needs of an increasingly diversified society, the company has also sought to improve its marketing and planning skills as we aim to become a comprehensive consulting company that can provide our customers with the 360-degree support that they require for their operations in the cosmetic industry.

Through our involvement in the development of quality cosmetics, Cosmetec Japan's philosophy is one of contributing to peoples' happiness, and this has continued to be the company's mantra throughout its long 120-year history. With the corporate slogan of "Think Next for the Beauty" - Dreaming of a Beautiful Future, adopted as the company's action plan, we are striving to become the "Best Partner" for our client companies in supporting their activities in the cosmetics business as we seek to become a company that is indispensable for everyone's needs.
